I had som problems in the past. My VoIP settings were erased (I do not know why, could be related to power interupts) and caused me a lot of money for long distance calls that I thought I was doing through the VoIP.....Anyways, I learned the hard way, I requested the telephone company to disable the long distance calls feature, I monitor the status of the VoIP light when I make a phone call and for about 3 weeks now it works with no problem. I have a wireless router attached to it and I guess that the system covers all my needs.
